Miele India announces the addition of the ‘TwoInOne’ (Model KMDA774FL) in its ‘India Range’. Essentially an induction hob with an integrated extractor that draws vapours and odours precisely where they originate, the elegant, high-performance appliance combines the best from two Miele competence centres: Induction technology from Miele’s Bünde production plant and an integrated downdraught extractor from Arnsberg. The 80 cm wide hob unit comes with a centred extractor which is framed by two variable PowerFlex zones. Recognisable only by its grille, the extractor’s technical components (which allow recirculation or vented extraction) lie hidden in a kitchen cabinet below.

The PowerFlex technology enables use of pots and frying pans of various diameters by allowing two individual rings to join up automatically when large pots or pans are placed on the surface. In TwinBooster mode, a maximum power output of 7.3 kW helps reduce cooking time when more energy is required.

Heritage

Horse India Ltd has recently launched its ‘Marwari’ breed handcrafted wooden rocking horse, at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, UK, inspired by the famous Marwari stallion ‘Alibaba’. Hand carved in the UK from British oak, ‘The Marwari’ comes complete with a traditional style saddle, brass fittings, stirrups, a beaded bridle made in India, real horse hair mane and tail, carved bhavri and devman (auspicious hair whorls) and, of course, the curly touching ears characteristic of the breed. A perfect wedding gift and heirloom reminiscent of tradition, culture, heritage and legacy, ‘The Marwari’ comes with a lockable secret compartment in the underbelly to keep valuable items such as dowry jewellery, wills and marriage documents secure.

You can order from two available size options of ‘Large (4 ft)’ and ‘Extra Large (5 ft)’, and can have your own ‘Marwari’ customised to match the same markings and colouring of a family horse by providing photographs.
